Melissa Wessels, the CrEd head for Pietermaritzburg KwaZulu Natal, is a dedicated individual with a profound passion for Dramatic Arts and its transformative power in the lives of children and young adults. With a strong belief in the importance of creative expression, Melissa has dedicated her career to utilizing the art of theatre and Drama to inspire, educate and empower the next generation.After majoring in Dramatic Arts at The University of KwaZulu Natal, Melissa began her career in academia, teaching Dramatic Arts to children and young adults from the age of three to eighteen. With fourteen years of teaching experience, Melissa continues to create engaging and meaningful experiences for her students through developmental Drama. With her passion for Dramatic Arts and her deep understanding of the impact that creative expression can have on individuals of all ages, Melissa now aims to continue to make a lasting impact on her students’ lives through the acclaimed program offered by Creative Education International (CrEd).
