Maija, originally from Finland but residing in Egypt since 1998, brings a wealth of diverse experiences to the educational landscape of Egypt. Starting her career as a professional tennis player, she immersed herself in various cultures worldwide. It was during her work with athletes that she realized her calling in education. Maija embarked on studies in Education and graduated with a pedagogic degree from Montessori Education International as the director of early childhood. Continuing her educational journey, she obtained a diploma in teaching Finnish language and culture through drama, literature, grammar, and total physical-response method from the University of Helsinki, Finland. Committed to holistic education, Maija completed a positive psychology course, deepening her understanding of human potential.
